We closed 2025 with a cosy evening of festive music and good company, featuring classic holiday favourites alongside a few musical surprises.
Set in a small theatre tucked behind a wonderful Greek restaurant, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends and family.

Little Shop of Horrors
A mysterious plant with specific taste, a florist's on the brink of bankruptcy, and a love story you'll never forget: We brought Little Shop of Horrors to Berlin and it was meaner and greener than ever!
Step onto Skid Row and meet Seymour Krelborn, a shy flower shop employee hopelessly smitten with his co-worker, Audrey. One day, he discovers a strange and unusual plant which he decides to name "Audrey II." After prominently displaying Audrey II in the shop window, Seymour finds his luck beginning to change… but soon learns that fame and fortune can come at a terrible, bloodthirsty price.
Encore! Musicals Berlin e.V. proudly presented the cult horror comedy rock musical in a unique new staging featuring:
A powerhouse eight-piece live band performing an expanded, updated orchestration of Alan Menken's beloved score with a fresh, modern sound; every note brought to life by musicians collectively playing 19 instruments - a rare feat in independent theatre!
German subtitles available at all performances, making this event fully accessible for anyone more comfortable watching in German.

Heroes & Villains
We kicked off 2025 with a celebration of our favourite stories and the choices that drive them — the good, the bad, and the in-between. What makes a “hero” or a “villain”? When does someone cross the threshold from a hero’s journey into something darker? With classic songs from stage and screen, we explored the characters we love and the ones we love to hate.

Unruly Hearts: Queer Stories in Musical Theatre
Through this collaboration with the iconic Berlin queer institution SchwuZ, we explored many facets of the queer experience as they’ve been reflected in musical theatre. We examined this community’s identity via the colours of the Pride rainbow, with live vocals and dance numbers from La Cage aux Folles, Billy Elliot, My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?), Bare and many more all-time favourites.

Next to Normal
Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical Next to Normal was nominated for a whopping eleven Tony Awards in 2009, winning three, including Best Original Score and Best Orchestration. Through gut-wrenching writing and storytelling (Brian Yorkey) and a powerful score (Tom Kitt), audiences are granted a glimpse into the interior lives of the show's characters. Featuring a selection of songs from musical theatre both past and present. audiences enjoyed performances from shows such as Rent, Falsettos, The Color Purple, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cabaret and many more!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but A Cozy Christmas Concert with Encore! is so delightful!
Encore! staged an intimate Christmas concert to spread a little holiday cheer, with festive classics such as ‘White Christmas' and ‘O Holy Night’ along with a host of more modern hits like ‘Fairytale of New York’ and ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
